I know it doesn't really mean anything but I started working on DXCC when I
put the T6 up 2 years ago. I now have 273 countries worked and have DXCC on
20/15/10 and I'm waiting for cards for 17m, all on phone. My antenna is at
40' due to local height restrictions. I couldn't be happier, well not true,
the SWR on all bands meets specifications but is higher than I would like,
A maximum of 1:1 would be nice but it's not realistic. The T8 specifications
are for a bit lower maximum SWR. I keep thinking it would have been better
to have. But with size, cost and my location considered, the T6 does the job
very well.

Tennadyne T-6 Log Periodic and formerly a T-10 at the old qth. Very well
built and does what an antenna of it's size should. At the prior qth the
T-10 (24' boom) went through FIVE major ice storms without obvious damage
(although when I took it down to move I did notice a crack in the boom at
the rear of the antenna (largest element)). Tennadyne has since
re-designed
the booms, and the T-6 now uses two rectangular booms. If you're not a
big-gun dx'er and just want an antenna that does a very good job from
20-10m
with moderate gain and excellent f/b, then the T-6 would be a wise choice.
It's also quite reasonably priced, has low wind loading and weight.
