"Reg Edwards" wrote in message ... snip And, to return to topic, to keep yourself sane, get yourself a free program. ---- Yes, returning to the subject of TOA the antenna I am working with has a natural TOA of 10 degrees instead of 14 degrees with the feed point at 65 feet ( for 20 meters. tho it can also be used on other bands) If the antenna is tipped up to angles beyond 15 degrees the TOA increases until it goes straight up.Thus the antenna can choose the correct angle for a particular QSO or hops even if the wind is not "waving the antenna about"! Grin At present I am searching for a way to DECREASE its natural TOA.by way of a 2M antenna project and if succesful will dispatch it to the RSGB for comment.
