Default MATCHING A VERTICLE?

Has any one any knowledge about using "T" or Gamma matches to a vert?
For impedance matching;Hair pin matches etc. because,next question;
Has any one any knowledge of using a director or reflector with a 20 M
monoband (hb) vert? Any help appreciated.

Look in the ARRL Antenna Book under phased vertical arrays.

See Antenna books for matching and phased verticals (not verticle -- hi hi)
ARRL pubs has several.

Look in the ARRL antenna handbook for "shunt feeding".
That is appx the same as a gamma match, etc.. Many
feed towers this way. IE: you drop a parallel wire down
from a certain point on the tower or mast, and usually is
combined with a capacitor. Directive elements don't
work too well with verticals. Better to feed as phased
arrays. MK

I said directive elements don't work too well with
verticals...Maybe I should have said parasitic
elements...MK
