![]() "Dan" wrote in message om... Im going to be installing a Larson KG450UDPL 450-470mhz glass mount antenna on my 2004 Dodge Ram pick up and i was wondering if anyone knew the best spot to place this antenna. I have read about glass with tint causing problems. The rear window (where i want to put it) has a light tint, how will know if this will make my antenna performance suffer? Are some tints worse than others? I hate to stick it there and have not work then have to scrape it off. The windshield is clear but who wants an antenna on the windshield? You can ask the dealer, but they may not know. My expedition is similar, and I have no problems with the two I'm running. They tune nicely, and radiate as well as I expected them to. |
