in his second "contribution" to the group wrote the following "helpful" response: you could read the manual and look at schematic of the antenna and it is very clear how it works. also if i remember correctly they had similar questions on your ham radio test. i guess if the fcc relaxes requirements any more the question would be, "i just bought a new transceiver, how do i turn it on? john You could also return to grade school and learn how to punctuate a sentence. The OP didn't stipulate that he had a manual or "schematic", so your flippant suggestion is without merit. wrote in message roups.com... Hi All Hams I picked up a TA-33 beam over the weekend. I see only one set of traps for the tribander, Could someone tell how they get the thing to work with just one set of traps? I guess I expected a set of traps for 15 and 10. I guess that you are concerned because there is only "one" trap pair per element. I believe that in the Mosley antenna both the 10 and 15 traps are in the same housing. There is no requirement that there be an external piece of tubing between the traps. |
