![]() "gb" wrote in message ... wrote in message oups.com... Hi All Hams I picked up a TA-33 beam over the weekend. I see only one set of traps for the tribander, Could someone tell how they get the thing to work with just one set of traps? I guess I expected a set of traps for 15 and 10. de KJ4UO You can always give Mosley a call for any parts that you may need. http://www.mosley-electronics.com/amateur.htm w9gb There is only one SET of traps per element on the TA-33 series of antenna. Ten meters the traps act as decoupling. The fifteen and twenty windings are internal, with the outside aluminum can forming the capacitator. In other words a total of six traps for the three element tri-bander. Hope that helps, considering all the smart arsed comments it should. Dan/W4NTI |
