Dear Andrew:
Your message has languished for a while.
Why would one wish to perform the suggested mutilation? The instrument
works fine just as it is.
Among the available instruments for measuring antenna and transmission
line impedances that are not a long way from 50 ohms, I have found the CIA
to be the most useful.

Hello!

The AEA CIA/VIA antenna anylyzer gives an extremely low output signal
and I have heard that it is possible to slightly increase this output
by reducing the value of a resistor. I do not have the schematic so I
wondered if anyone else has done this modification and if so would
help me to do it.

Best wishes

Andrew G3WZZ/OZ5E
