I want to put up a 40m dipole antenna and my question is what a
transmission line to use, I have two defferent type of twin lead to
choose from, one is 75 ohm and a TV 300 ohm line. I'm using Yeasu 747

Yes, remember ignorance is bliss. Follow Dave's advice; even better
though, never ask a question here at all. That way, you can spend more
time on the air and that is more important than possibly learning
something about antennas and transmission lines.

that of course was not my point... in his case either wire would be fine and
there is no point in discussing which one to use and how to cut it to the
n-th degree as some people do on here.
