I do not think it is local noise, sounds more like jamming. In fact, it may not be on the frequency you think it is, but rather is an IF image. Try tuning around 910KHz higher (or lower) in frequency to see if you can hear the same thing. (910KHz will only work if your receiver has an IF of 455KHz) 73's Richard Clark, KB7QHC |

A noise vary similar was traced to a neighbor's battery charger for an

I know I could try to find the source of the noise by using as portable radio + loop antenna, but my ALA is mounted on the shed and I have no other loop available. Maybe someone can identify a possible noise source by listening to the clip, or at least give more tips.
