Hi Fritts:
Yes you can do that, why not? I would try and keep the coax run as short as possible because with a center feed zepp on most frequencies the SWR on the coax will be very high and the extra loss from the high SWR will eat up some of you power. -- John Passaneau State College Pa. In reference to the discussion about the fellow wanting to run several antennas with seperate ladder lines, is it ok to terminate the ladder line with a 4:1 balun and the run the coax from the balun to the tuner? I also want to run at least two center fed zepp type antennas fed with ladder line. Can I just terminate the ladder lines outside with a 4:1 balun on each and run two coax feed lines to an antenna switch inside the house? I hope I am making myself clear on this. Thanks Steve W4SEF |
