Default W9INN antenna help

It's a W2AU Balun that came with the antenna. I took a pulley and attached
it to the tower and then
took a line and attached it to the Balun so i could raze and lower it for
adjustments.

So the Balun is about a foot away from the tower.

It seems to tune ok all readings are below 2.1 on center freq on phone bands
on 40 80 160.

Just wonder if it's hearting the transmitting.

Thanks for the input..

Steve

Still no input on my question. The feed point at the balun. should it be
off the tower on a stand off or is it ok to just hang it off a leg of the
tower.

Is the balun mounted in an aluminum enclosure? If so, it's probably OK
to fasten it to the tower assuming the tower is not RF 'hot'.
