Hello All,

I have comparisation information from 20 different
Diamond antennas (verticals).
For the bands: 50/144/430/1200Mhz.
Compare the gain and the length.

All information is to see in a nice chart!

That table is just a lot of bull****, those figures are completely
useless and far away from truth...
I wonder why you post this useless info into 5 newsgroups without
verifying the figures.
Are you paid by diamond?

By the way, your menu is still not visible with netscape navigator...

Please explain why the table is nonsense, if you claim it is!

Please be a bit creative yourself.

And Netscape: we stopped using that about 8 years ago...

just one example:

you see with first glance that the claimed gain figures are
much to high,
how can an antenna 30% longer than a halfwave show 3dbs of gain
and 1/4 Lambda more yields in another 1,5db more gain?

Please be a bit creative yourself.

fine for YOU

It would be a could idea before spamming newsgroups
to test how things are showing up with all common browsers,
there are people around the world who do not use Microsoft software
on porpuse

I have been a Netscape user for almost 8 years. I refuse to use IE!!

I spent years writing HTML based web pages in HTML!! And, I always Beta
tested my pages against all available browsers.

The current software for designing web sites is compliant with the Bill
Gates world, but, the world is bigger than Bill Gates.

And that page failed the W3C makeup validation
just from the beginning...

Yes. I know that. It has a nice religious feel around it, bashing Microsoft.

Dave, the context of "I refuse", is nothing more than an attitude

adjustment problem.
;-)

I've written HTML-based web pages also. And of course I always Beta test

my pages as
well. However "all available browsers" includes only two: NS and IE. My

final
tests always come out correct when testing with IE. Usually there is some

little
quirk with NS. That is the reason for the statement at the bottom of the

page, "This
site best viewed with Internet Explorer", and includes a graphic link to

MS if you
want to download the IE browser.

You can view the web pages with NS if you want, but the "disclaimer" is

there for a
reason. The guidelines that govern what nomenclature is used to make up

HTML code
has some differences between NS and IE. Until both companies agree on the

same
actual code, there will always be problems - unless you know *both*

variants of HTML
programming.

The current software for designing web sites is compliant with the Bill
Gates world, but, the world is bigger than Bill Gates.

Yes, it is. But not by much :-)

Ordained, really. But trust me, I have done enough Microsoft bashing

(complaining?)
in my time. Ever since MS-DOS 1.0 came out.

I just couldn't resist Deacon Dave's signature. :-) I normally never use

my "title"
on the Internet or on the air (ham radio). I'm just...

Yes. I don't use any title too. I am an elder in our church and a MSc.

Hello Peter,

I saw again your negative comments.

Renember my diamond info is based on dBi,
2,15 less and you get dbd.

Do you think diamond want to risk there name to
put some false gain numbers on the antenna?

If a antenne does not do what it is expect to do
we can claim the money back.
Do you realy think diamond would take that risk?

Why do you think diamond has verry expensive
measure equipment?

Im wondering were your homepage is, I asume
everything must be perfect on your homepage.
So maybe you done a lot of work too (like i did),
so there might be some intresting info? (let us know!).
I saw it wasn't ready on qsl.net server.

Hello All,

Sorry for the netscape users.
I used netscape browser many years back, Im glad
with the microsoft browser.
Netscape gave me some problems with some
goverment page's (wich microsoft ie doesn't).
Netscape does not know all the html code's like
the fixed function in the background sentence (and
many more).

These fixed command is verry famous in the
internet world.

But do not worrie netscape comes with updates
they are always a littlebit later than microsoft!
