Default Technical vertical question

Testing has shown no discernable difference in a vertical pattern when
certain directions are favored with the radial system.
So many hams feel they get best performance from end fed halfwaves
with 4-7 "counterpoise rod", and are only fooling themselves. A 1/4w
vertical with 60 on gorund radials is a very
efficient antenna on long hauls.
Good luck,
Jim
