Anybody have the footprint dimensions (width and depth) for the Hammarlund
HQ-180 in its cabinet?

Thanks...

Good afternoon, Ed.

The 19" wide is the panel (standard 19" panel width), right?

Won't the cabinet be a bit wider than that, perhaps 1/2 to 1 inch wider
each side?

If you take the cabinet off, leaving the receiver and the front panel,
it will slide into a standard 19" rack opening. The left and right
sides of the front panel will hide the side rails of the rack. I have a
"rack-mounted" HQ-180AC, here. It sits on a shelf within the rack and,
with the exception of the rounded corners of the receiver front panel,
it appears like a custom fit. One other consideration is that the
"standard" height for many/most MIL and Commercial receivers (R-390,
390A, SP-600, R-274/SX-73, et al is 10 1/2". The HQ-180-series
receivers, and in fact the other large cabinet Hammarlunds will fit this
rack size. Note also that, unfortunately, the above Hammarlund
receivers will NOT fit in a rack with the cabinet, in tact, unless the
rack side mounting rails are removed. This can be done in some racks;
others, not.

The outside cabinet width is 19" including the "rim." The full depth
is 13" and the height including the "feet" is 11". Without the feet,
the height is 10.5". --Ed
