Default Help with Identifying This Little Rig

This little radio is not marked with a makers name and the dial markers have numerals 1 to 7 ...was that the way older 1930's era AM Radios were marked instead of 560-1690 kc ?...I am thinking this metal case and the rubber stamped REP 43 on back dates it pre-war..it is small too, 6-3/8" wide 4-7/8" high and 4" front to back

Dane, It's a Silvertone "Metal Midget" 6002 from 1946. Google image it
to see what
the original dial looked like.
