Thanks for the reply, Scott. There is hardly a circuit board made
that I won't attempt to repair. However, this one is cracked in so many places, under chips, front and back that it is crazy to try it. However, if I don't get a replacement, I am crazy enough to try it as a very, very last resort. I wouldn't even mind too greatly to make my own pcb. Take care.On 30 Sep 2011 09:40:56 -0400, (Scott Dorsey) wrote: justme wrote: I need to find the internal ram board for an Icom 745/751. I broke mine by pushing too hard when reinstalling. Money is tight, as we all know. Do you have one that I can buy? I sure would appreciate it. I'm not sure that the 745 is a boatanchor... but have you considered epoxy and tack-soldering hookup wire jumpers across the break? --scott |
