Potentiometer source

Looking for a source for potentiometers such as the ones you see in the pic
here. Simple 10K Ohm variable resistor that adjusts the S meter. I looked
at Digi Key and Mouser and have not found what I am looking for, operator
error without a doubt. From a rig that is been a real PITA getting back up
and running that had been sitting for over 10 years in an attic. Fix 1
problem and a few more pop up. I will have to take the face off the
FT-902Dm 1 more time to get at the ALC switch that...

Wanted - Globe Chief 90 for parts or repair

Posted: 27 Feb 2017 05:38 PM PST

Restoring my old Globe Chief 90 and basically just need the original
0-300ma meter (wrl part#2500-010) and a front panel in decent shape.
Storing outside the cabinet resulted in bending of the front panel. I do
have a 0-300ma meter but would like to find an original in working
condition. Will consider buying a complete 90 as long as it comes with the
original meter and decent (unbent) front panel. Please respond directly to

Thanks

Problem with RF Processor Yaesu FT 101 E

Hello, I restored an old Yaesu ft 101 E. After fully recalibrating the rig
according to the instructions of the service manuel of Yaesu, I found in
mode CW and AM normal output power on all the bands. In SSB mode my power
output is about 100 watts (this seems to me correct), but it has been
adjusted VR2 on RF processor ( PB-1534 ) beyond the adjustments proposed by
Yaesu, I did not respect the procedure indicated in the service manual. The
procedure proposes to inject audio signal at 1 Khz...

Heathkit SB-303 hum

I am working on my Heathkit SB-303. I recently (Thursday 2/2) got it
working again after replacing many bad transistors, caps & resistors;
however, there is still a hum on the audio & before the S-meter quit
working, it was reading a steady 40 over 9. Before anyone asks, yes, there
are new caps on the power supply board (2 1000mF vs. the original 2000mF as
my local store doesnt sell 2000mF caps & Mousers website is horrible). Has
anyone else had this problem of where else the hum could be...
