These sets are essentially Trans-Oceanics without the SW bands. They are
*extremely* potent at picking up BC band stations, especially when you rotate
the Wave Magnet antenna to null out interfering stations (since the selectivity
isn't all that great).

It has a real cool looking 'Wave Magnet' in the back that is connected to
the radio, pretty wild looking IMO...lol....anyone have any idea as to the
year it was made or a link you can throw my way?


There are at least a couple of Trans-O web sites. Try Google on "Zenith Trans
Oceanic" and see what pops up. Usuallythese "copanion" BC-only radios are
mentioned. --Mike K.
