It's just AM but what the hey, I saw one on ebay. Any one in here ever own
one and can tell me about the performance, I've googled all night. One guy
said "it's could really pu those signals"..but that is just one persons
opinion.

These sets are essentially Trans-Oceanics without the SW bands. They are
*extremely* potent at picking up BC band stations, especially when you rotate
the Wave Magnet antenna to null out interfering stations (since the selectivity
isn't all that great).

It has a real cool looking 'Wave Magnet' in the back that is connected to
the radio, pretty wild looking IMO...lol....anyone have any idea as to the
year it was made or a link you can throw my way?

There are at least a couple of Trans-O web sites. Try Google on "Zenith Trans
Oceanic" and see what pops up. Usuallythese "copanion" BC-only radios are
mentioned. --Mike K.

WOW Mike, that's great to hear. I wonder though if it'll rival the P-780,
now THAT would be something. :-) Thanks Mike!

Say, what is the GE P-780? Is that like a Superradio, or something nicer, with
SW?
Tnx, Mike K.
