Default Un-built kits

I see all these big prices on un built kits..That`s OK if you just
want something to collect,but, these unbuilt kit components ,like tube
sockets,switches,term stripos,resistors etc.with age will tarnish
,solder will not stick to them...you will most likely have to clean
each and every part very carefully before you attemp to solder
them..could take forever and you would most likely be plagued with
intermittent connections even after that..along costal areas of the
country are worse because of high humidity..."been there ,don that"
