Weird. Maybe the crew had time to dump them; if so, the Koreans bought spares on eBay. Ed But when was the picture taken? There was an article in QST in the early seventies by a crew member of the Pueblo, who happened to be a ham. He mentioned taking a fire axe the the R-390s. Someone with a better organized collection could look up the article (it must have in the first few months of 1971 or earlier, since I did not read the article when it first came out, and I started reading QST in April of 1971). So I thought the equipment was indeed damaged, though maybe they did not have enough time to do enough damage. Michael VE2BVW |
