Hi ED, thanks for the response.... yes its a Mech. hum, I have never
put it on the air. I bought it from an estate and when I fired it up I noticed the hum when I turned on the HV switch.... it has the solid state recitifer replacements and 4 brand new 811's I doubt I ever use it and I'de like to get my $250.00 back out of it...lol -- drc Table Rock Lake Ar/Mo State Line "Edward Knobloch" wrote in message ... hillbilly3302 wrote: I have a Heath HA-10 Warrior amp that seems to have a hum when I turn on the HV.... K5DRC Hi, Do mean a mechanical hum in the amplifier? if there is no sign of overloading (extra heat, extra current drawn), it may be just a loose lamination in the transformer or HV choke. 73, Ed |
