Hello to the NG, I have some old Eico gear & would like to clean up the copper chassis a bit. There is black lettering on the chassis also. I'd like to clean up the copper without taking the lettering off! Does anyone know what I could use on the copper chassis without harming the lettering??? Thanks, Steve K2FW I would use a mild acid, like lemon juice, or tomato juice. They both make copper shine right up. You must be sure to do a good rinse afterwards. I cannot say for sure what would happen to the lettering, but as long as you don't scrub, it should be ok. -Chuck |
