snip I would appreciate any comments on the Rig either Good Bad or Ugly!! snip Hi, Rob The Eico 720 a nice c.w. transmitter. A connector is included on the back for connection of an optional plate modulator. A friend from my old radio club used one on 80m. He was ten miles from me, and I could tell his TX by the slight key clicks. The Eico has cathode keying, so beware of simply plugging in a keyer unless it uses a relay output. http://BAMA.sbc.edu has a manual, but it is in DJVu format. If you would like a stand-alone DJVu viewer program for Windows, I can fix you up. 73, Ed Knobloch |
