Default Help - Military Communications Receiver Type R-744A/PRR

Hi

I wonder if anyone has any info on this small military tube set made
in the USA during the 1960s by Alvin Industries. The set is battery or
24v powered and covers 20-100MHz.

I picked one up recently and have never seen one here in Australia
before. It may have been a sample as the serial no is 16.

I can find no information on the net and am looking for a schematic or
manual to download. Unfortunately the set is in rather poor condition
having been stored in a damp environment for several years!
