A nice example of a vintage unbuilt Heathkit in excellent condition.
Remote control for Heatkit GRA-2001 Televison Set. This kit contains
both the hand-held transmitter control and the receiver portion that
is wired into the the television.

The kit displays nicely and appears to be complete with all
documentation. There is some writing on one side of the box.

Manufactured by The Heath Company, Benton Harbor, Michigan.

You're absolutely correct. What you're seeing is an odd state of
mind in which unbuilt Heathkits -- ANY unbuilt Heathkits -- take on
"collectible" value vs. the real value of what they'd be worth once
assembled.

I've seen the symptom many times, though I consistently fail to
understand it despite the fact that I've built many a Heathkit while
they were around.
