Good luck with the 723 ...I built mine in 65 and haven't had it on the air
since I moved about a yr and a half ago.. You just can't beat the clanging
of that meter when transmitting ...I put the meter switch half way to quiet
things down.

I was only in the rig one time in 40 years as the electrolytic cap went
south about 15 years ago. It is a nice set with the 722 VFO and the 75-S1 I
picked up years ago.
