"Garry W Tidler" wrote in message ... Today I received a GZ-34 tube for my Eico 723 TX . Good luck with the 723 ...I built mine in 65 and haven't had it on the air since I moved about a yr and a half ago.. You just can't beat the clanging of that meter when transmitting ...I put the meter switch half way to quiet things down. I was only in the rig one time in 40 years as the electrolytic cap went south about 15 years ago. It is a nice set with the 722 VFO and the 75-S1 I picked up years ago. Catch you on the air ... Merry Christmas and God Bless all and yours .... KI3R Tom Popovic Belle Vernon Pa |
