Larry -

I owned this radio in the mid-1970s. This was the follow on Icom model to
the crystal based IC-22A. The biggest problem with Icom IC-22S is the large
number of modification articles. The diode matrix worked okay for
occasional change (but not frequent reworks). It is not uncommon to see
broken wires in that area.
