The FCC today approved plans to move all radio station public files online.
All commercial stations in Top 50 markets that have five or more full-time
employees will be required to migrate their public and political
advertising files to the FCC hosted platform as soon as the rules go into
effect. All other stations will make the transition on March 1, 2018.
Broadcast television stations made the move in 2012. The new order will
have all broadcast and satellite radio operators and cable/satellite
