Corey B Goes From B97 To B96

CBS Radio CHR B96 96.3 WBBM-FM Chicago has hired Corey B for its vacant
evening slot.

Corey joins the station from Entercoms B97 97.1 WEZB New Orleans where he
has hosted the same timeslot for the past four years. He also has worked at
iHeartMedias 93.3 WFLZ Tampa.

Corey fills the evening vacancy at WBBM-FM created by Eric Tylers quick
promotion to afternoons when Stylz Roman jumped to sister US 99.5 WUSN for
mornings.

CBS RADIO Chicago’s WBBM-FM (B96) today announced the hiring of Corey B. as
its new evening (7:00PM-12:00Midnight) on-air personality. Corey succeeds
Eric Tyler, who was recently promoted as the afternoon host at B96 after
former afternoon on-air personalities, Stylz Roman, moved over to morning
drive at country sister station WUSN-FM (US99) in Chicago. Listeners can
tune in to Corey on B96 over-the-air, online at www.b96.com or via the
Radio.com app for mobile devices.

A native of Tampa, FL, Corey is an eight-year radio veteran. Prior to this
role, he spent four years as the night personality at WEZB (B97) in New
Orleans, LA. Before relocating to New Orleans, Corey worked on-air at
WFLZ-FM in Tampa, FL.

has gone all Garth Brooks as 96.1 The Garth.

The stunt comes as Brooks prepares for three concerts in Charleston this
weekend. However more changes may be on the way for the station following
the stunt. The airstaff has been removed from the stations website as
morning host Kidd Conley jumped to afternoons at Bristol Broadcastings 97.5
WQBE and co-host Miss Amanda moved to sister Rhythmic CHR 98.7 The Beat
WRVZ.

WV Radio Corporation has registered multiple domains for potential use at
WKWS in recent weeks. 961KWS.com and 961TheGarth.com were registered
simultaneously last week, while anonymous registrations for 961Sky.com,
961SkyFM.com, Sky961.com, and TheNewSky961.com made in July match the
Classic Hits brand launched by the company last month on 106.5 WWLW
Clarksburg.

In the Spring 2016 Nielsen Audio ratings WKWS ranked sixth in the
Charleston market with a 5.9 share, but that placed it well behind Bristol
Broadcastings market leading 97.5 WQBEs 16.4 share.

Rob Kruz Named WFLZ Program Director

iHeartMedia CHR 93.3 WFLZ Tampa has named Rob Kruz as its new Program
Director.

Kruz joins the station from iHearts Z104.3 WZFT Baltimore where he was
Program Director/afternoon host. Kruz was promoted to PD from APD/MD in
February 2015. Prior to joining WZFT he hosted nights at Hot 99.5 WIHT
Washington DC and also worked at Hot AC Q104 WQAL Cleveland and 96.3 WDVD
Detroit.

Kruz succeeds John Mayer who exited earlier this month.

93.3 FLZ, Tampa Bay’s No. 1 Hit Music Channel, announced today that Rob
Kruz has been named Program Director, effective immediately.

Kruz will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee 93.3
FLZ’s on-air content, digital footprint and music programming. He will
report to Travis Daily, Senior Vice President of Programming for
iHeartMedia Tampa Bay.

“I could not be more excited for Rob to join our team at 93.3 FLZ, which
already amazes and humbles me on a daily basis,� said Travis Daily, Senior
Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Tampa Bay. “Rob is the

Kruz previously served as the Program Director and afternoon drive
personality for WZFT in Baltimore, MD. He has worked as on-air talent for
WIHT-FM in Washington, D.C. and WQAL-FM in Cleveland, OH. He began his
radio career in Detroit, MI at WDRQ while he attended the University of
Michigan.

Galaxy Communications Acquires Pittsfield Cluster

Ed Levines Galaxy Communications is expanding to Pittsfield, Massachusetts
with the purchase of Bruce Danzigers commonly owned Berkshire Broadcasting
and Gamma Broadcasting.

The combined $3.15 million purchase will give Galaxy II Media, LLC the
following stations: Hot AC Live 95.9 WBEC-FM Pittsfield, Classic Hits
Whoopee 100.1 WUPE-FM North Adams/1110 WUPE Pittsfield/103.3 W277CJ
Pittsfield, Full Service AC 860 WSBS Great Barrington, AC 1230 WNAW North
Adams, and News/Talk 1420 WBEC Pittsfield. Gamma will also acquire WSBS
translator 94.1 W231AK Great Barrington from Northeast Airchecks for
$20,000 and transfer that to Galaxy.

Galaxy operates clusters in Syracuse and Utica NY. A 2013 attempt to sell
these stations to Greg Reed was later withdrawn.
