Default "The Nation's Station"

To mark Manx Radio's 40th birthday, a new book - "A Nation's Station" is
soon to be published.

Manx Radio's been on quite a journey during four decades of broadcasting.

Its highly unusual position - as a public service broadcaster, which is also
partly commercial, means the station's always been subject to intense
scrutiny.

Author Derek Winterbottom says the book sheds light on Manx Radio's ups and
downs .. and examines its fascinating, unique status.
