JVC Media is expanding its Florida holdings with the purchase of Community
Broadcasters four station cluster in Fort Walton Beach for $2,268,839.

The acquisition includes CHR Q92 92.1 WECQ Destin, Country Highway 98.1
WHWY, Variety Hits 102.1 The Wave WWAV Santa Rosa Beach, and Rock 103.1 The
Shark WZLB Valparaiso. Both companies are majority owned by Northwood
Ventures and subsidiary Northwood Capital Partners who own approximately
75% of both JVC Media and Community Broadcasters.

JVC Media will add the Fort Walton Beach cluster to their holdings in
Orlando and Gainesville/Ocala and Long Island NY. Community Broadcasters
will continue to own 24 stations in Upstate New York and South Carolina.

JVC Media of Florida, one of America’s largest independent and locally
owned broadcast and entertainment companies headed by John Caracciolo,
continues its rapid growth in Florida by adding four radio stations in Fort
Walton Beach, FL. JVC has entered into a definitive agreement with
Community Broadcasters, LLC to purchase their four FM signals in Fort
Walton Beach including WECQ, WHWY, WWAV, and WZLB. This will bring JVC’s
Florida operation to a total of eleven radio stations including three in
Orlando and four in Gainesville-Ocala, in addition to the company’s five FM
stations in Nassau-Suffolk, NY.

JVC’s CEO John Caracciolo said, “We are honored and privileged to welcome
WECQ, WHWY, WWAV, and WZLB and its staff to the JVC family. The prior
ownership was committed to community service on the Emerald Coast, high
quality broadcasting and creating an excellent work environment for its
staff, and we will continue that work. We are tremendously impressed with
the Fort Walton Beach market and the remarkable growth and resilience of
the area even in these unprecedented times.”

JVC Executive Shane Reeve will oversee the integration of the Fort Walton
Beach stations into the company and will be responsible for the staffing
and operation of the facilities. Reeve is no stranger to the area having
managed clusters in Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola. He added, “I’m
thrilled JVC is bringing our live and local approach to the Florida
Panhandle and Emerald Coast!”.
