Loud Media ended their seasonal Santa 104.9 stunting on WTNQ La
Follette/Knoxville TN this afternoon and debuted Classic Hits 104.9 Lake-FM.

Positioning as Knoxvilles Greatest Hits, the new format pits WTNQ directly
against SummitMedias 93.1 WNOX Karns, which also uses the same tagline. The
Lake-FM music is centered in the 80s with a handful of 70s and 90s songs
per hour.

WTNQ will be one of the first affiliates of Compass Medias Anna Raven in
mornings. Hosted by Anna Zap and Jay Raven and based at Connoisseur Medias
Star 99.9 WEZN Bridgeport CT, the show will enter daily syndication on
Monday, January 4.

It has been a non-stop year of change for WTNQ. Loud Media announced the
purchase of the station and began operating it via LMA in June. The company
flipped the station from Oldies to Classic Country Q104.9 on June 29 and
then began stunting with Christmas music in late November.
