The last couple nights, I have heard a strong Spanish speaking station
on 1570 here in the Des Moines, Iowa area. I haven't been able to catch the call letters. I understand that in recent years, although XERF is licensed for 50,000 watts, it has been limping along at 10,000 watts. Of course 50,000 watts is nothing compared to the power they ran in the "border blaster' days. |
