Want to listen to a song by Jimi Hendrix?
Not anymore. You'll have to subscribe to a music server and download songs by the late Jimi Hendrix, Robert Plant, Steve Winwood, or other classic rock or, jazz, or blues artists. Now that corporate companies have captured radio stations, it is very hard to get your request played unless it is a current artist or if the corporate company has approved of your request as being "important" enough to be fit in during the day, evening, or weekend playlist. If you want to hear Avril Lavigne, Coldplay or some other current artists, then you will get your song played. If you want to hear the Stones, LeD Zeppelin, or Hendrix, then hold the phone away from your ear when you get disconnected. DISCRIMINATION against listeners! "Criminization" - that hidden fine-text in that word DISCRIMINATION because of society's over rated music with little respect of other listeners. You don't want to hear Avril Lavigne on your classic rock station - but you will have to "Get Over It"! (Why don't you like Avril Lavigne, yo?) An Avril Lavigne listener doesn't want to hear Rolling Stones - their request is fully granted. No questions asked. See the difference in how one is treated in today's society where corporate america has killed the radio stars that once poured out of our speakers. |
