Jim you better watch out or Stevarino will get mad at you... LOL The SkyWave has been optimized for 26-30MHz... although will certainly work below 26MHz. See the preliminary spec sheet at http://www.telstar-electronics.com/S...202879ABTC.pdf www.telstar-electronics.com Will your amp be type accepted in the future? Any patent on it or can one copy it for personal use? Since you have posted the SkyWave on the CB NG and not the amateur groups am I to suppose that it is to be used on 11 meters? Not trying to be a prick Brian but you are being forthwith concerning your amp and people need to know what you are selling. |

There are specific rules and dates for when patents have to be applied for prior to release for sale. james |

You bring it here because ham operators would report your illegal operation if you tried to hawk that trash it in the amateur groups, Griffey. www.telSPAM//SLAP |

I guess that happens in desperation...when you realize you have made a fool of yourself... LOL www.telstar-electronics.com Not at all. Do -YOU- even know the purpose of an ALC circuit? All real (read not junk built in your garage here) amplifiers have them, as do all real amateur radios built in the last 10-15 years. There is a reason for them, but I suspect you don't have a clue what it is for. Your market is not amateur radio operators. Don't even attempt to fool yourself into believing it is. Even the QRP Yaesu FT-817 ND has an ALC circuit, although no legally manufactured commercial amplifiers are allowed to be driven at 5 watt power levels. You can homebrew your own, but you cannot buy a homebrew splatterbox built in a garage (yours). If, and I emphasize -if- here, you have sold any amps to amateur operators, they must be ****ing moron types, or so hobbled by physical challenges that they cannot build their own amps. And another thing Griffey, those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. If you wish to continue this little online and EBay endeavor, I suggest you blend back into the woodwork like all the other illegal amp builders. There is a reason they are not here flaming people. They have a little common sense. |
