He's an old-time hamie ****ed off at what the service became and feels
more of a kindred with cb'ers than what's happening on the ham bands and
wants ever so bad to say so but his pride is weak.

Yeah that element will be there, as it has always been there. Probably
why the FCC said it had enough, in so many words deleting the CW testing
requirement.

I was at the local testing place last Jan, there where very friendly and
busy with guys and gals taking General and Extra without the code. But
had to wait for the new rules to kick in for it to be legal.
