It may look that way but consider this. 95% of the disrupters in
this group are composed of REGECTED amateur radio operators.

They have realized that no one on the amateur radio newsgroups,
or amateur radio bands, will give them the time of day. They can't
bring themselves to deal with this reality and CB is their scapegoat.
They hide their problem by creating a diversionary problem with a
CB newsgroup, or CB radio in general. When in reality the problems
real source is their OWN inability to socialize in a civilized and
productive manner.

or egging the trouble on, there's only 4 or 5 ligitimate posts

this ng has been attracting flames for years. agreed there use to be
some good tech discussions but people like b. eitner, a powers, sean et
al saw what this was and found their points of views only attracted
frequency cops. the freq cops may disagree but they have, in their
misguided attempts, done more to stifle "Citizens Band' radio
proliferation by saying what should not be done instead of how can we
help. hey george, dougie and your cadre what have you brought to the

That's just a load of hogwash. Eitner, Toll, and the rest of the voodoo-techies
have done nothing but set the state of radio technology back nearly a century,
redeveloped it using very little education, and created a whole lot of RF
mythology to explain what their lack of education can't. What "RF cops" have
done is to let people know that watts are not nearly as important as mode,
antenna efficiency, receive noise, etc; that a Class C amp isn't linear, but
makes a good splatter-box; that the length of your coax is important only if you
have a grounding problem; that "Bird watts" is a term without a definition; that
'swang' and overmodulation cause harmonics, wasting RF power by sending it out
on the wrong frequency; that overmodulation also distorts audio by making it
louder but less intelligible; that distortion from dirty amps can cause RFI in
all kinds of stuff, including cordless phones, home stereos, hospital equipment,
emergency communications, and even automotive electronic systems.... do I need
to continue?

That's a load of hogwash. What "RF cops" have done, is call people
names, lie, and make all sorts of things up about the FCC making busts
to the official observer program making busts and having NAL's issued by
the FCC for their efforts. And get this,,those involved with such
programs and "emergency communications" are some of the largest lying
lids on this group when it comes to cb, only they need shown their lies,
as they don't all admit to their repeated lying as you were forced to
admit.
Skip was absolutely outstanding this past weekend. International DX on
eleven meterall weekend long and I KNOW there was plenty of power being
run on the bands..from the 35 division to,,ah,I don't wanna start your
week out on your clubbed, ,,er, wrong foot. If you can't handle such
