The international requirement was dropped on July 5th, so by next July it should probably be gone in the US. |

I hope the code stays.
Its a filter to keep the dumb ass CBers on their band. Tuned up on the band the other day and all that was there was a bunch of skip shooters, with no intelligence conversation at all, especially the DARK ONES on channel 6, and 11, going BREAK BREAK BREAK BREAK BREAK BREAK YOUTHEMAN, YOUTHEMAN YOUTHEMAN, GETDOWN GETDOWN GETDOWN it sounded like a bunch of rachitjaw bull****.Bleeding five channels hell they could not understand them selves with all that over modulation. Could not imagine it if they came to Ham. Most would have to back to school just to learn to count to ten, and say ABC. Then on CH 19 all there was a bunch of truckers with pussy on their mind and sucking titties. I guess in their position I don,t blame them. That is what lot Lizards are far. |

Or do we slam him for ever having operated illegally? I have known former pirate radio ooperators whose behaviour on the ham bands after they got a licence was exemplary. |

Should their past behavior be ignored? The difference is only in degree, not in kind. If they have already been punished in some way by the courts, then the answer to your query is (or should be) yes. If they have not been punished in some way by the courts, then, de facto, they have not been found guilty of any crime, and are to be presumed innocent. |
