CB and Amateur are different services for different purposes. The failure to see that is causing Governments to try to make them more alike, gradually turning Amateur into a CB service. If people just want to yak, they want CB... if they want to get technical, then they want Amateur. There is no reason why people should not have both (as many do), if they have a proper use for each.
