the pot used on a 350hdv is a 250ohm 2 watt I don't have a 667 schematic.
but knowing how they build their linears they design there equipment to
utilize the same switches and so forth for convenience and cost
considerations. The pot on a 667 is used to control the driver pill, so it
goes to stand that it most probably is the same size. The following links
have the 350 schematic

Thanks for your help. I noticed the 350v and the 500v uses 250 ohm 1 watt, the
667 100 ohm 1 watt, Seems like it would use the same as the 350 & 500 but i'm
not a tech. Regards, Reggie

Hey you know linears are illegal on CB

What does that matter to you George, you've promoted
illegal cb for years. Now talk about a hypocrite.

A quote from George:

"David, I can only assume you are talking about THE BASE VERSION, it RUNS 21
VOLTS TO THE PILLS WHEN IT IS IDLE, WHEN YOU KEY UP THE VOLTAGE WILL DROP
PROBABLY TO 16 VOLTS OR SO, the pills aren't seeing 21 volts. That IS
CALLED AN UNREGULATED POWER SUPPLY Now I don't agree with the builder of X
Force regarding regulating, but because he is not a technician by any
stretch of the means I know he doesn't understand the correct operation of
the amps he is building. he is just a parts assembler. But It is cheaper to
build an amp with a UN regulated power supply"
