Jerry Depends on what claims they are making. Bigger air wound coils are more efficient. A big air wound coil should have a Q of 300, or bit more. A 5' or 6' foot antenna with a coil that has a Q of 300 will have close to the same bandwidth and efficiency of a 1/4 antenna. |
