Default cobra 75 WXST or 29 WXNWST?

Any recommendations on either? Purpose is purely weather alerts,
traffic updates while we travel (which is fairly frequently). Thanks in
advance.

I've used the 75, and I wouldn't recommend it. The squelch is utterly
useless. I've found that if you adjust the squelch just above the noise
level, it has a tendancy of cutting out signals that you should be able to
hear as well (within a few miles), so you're basically stuck with either
listening to the white noise of squelch all the time, or only hearing the
strongest stations (s7+). There's many different CB's that come in that
handheld/mobile format, just do a search on the net (google.com is a good
place to look). I know there's one that comes with the remote mic/controller
and you can snap that into a battery and put an antenna on top of it and
walk around with it as a handheld. I think it's a Cobra model.
