Rock Music? ROCK Music??? ROCK MUSIC???? WTF ABOUT HIPHOP/RAP???

I NEVER hear "ROCK MUSIC" blaring from an auto....it's ALWAYS RAP.

I guess the writer is afraid he'll lose his job.....

LOL

Anyway, I think it's a good idea. I never liked LOUD music in a car because
of the safety factor. Park it in your garage, close the doors and pump it
up.

I wonder if he used "Lock-Tight" on all of the screws in the truck to keep
it from falling apart from the heavy vibration when the bass is cranked up?

No kidding. I hear young guys driving around with much less than that
thing and wonder how bad they've wrecked their hearing. I like to crank
up a good tune every now and again but that's crazy!

Well if the above is the case I wonder why it's called a 30KW system? If
it's 9KW RMS per channel that only works out to around 25KW peak power
total for both channels together. I checked the URL out but all I get is a
checked banner on the left side of the screen. You have a better link?

It is actually only a 3,000 watt system

You are correct. That would make more sense since he only has 6 subs. The
amount he spent is also wrong as he stated he only has 2 grand in it.

If I read it right it's Lijewski that has the 3KW system, and he is just
appearing in the photo with the owner, Witek, of the higher powered system.

Lee if you read the link you posted they called the guy who the article is
written about a 3,000 watt system, the guy standing next( Tom Witek) to

him
is supposed to be the one who has a 30 kw system. His was the stats I
posted that said 9 kw he probably upgraded.

I'll take your word for it. The link that was posted:

http://www.termpro.com/asp/competitorstats.asp

the only thing that shows up for me is a banner pattern on the left side.
The rest of the page appears blank. Is that the right URL?

I never liked LOUD music in a car

because
of the safety factor. Park it in your garage, close the doors and pump
it up.

Head banger extrordinare.

Watch it, I pump the metal too! The rap posers look at me a little funny
but what the hell. Nothing like a quick kick in the ass with a real kick
drum!!!

I wonder how many alternators they had to install. If I turn the gain up
on
mine I lose tons of horse power.

Horse power and wattts can be converted in a linear equation, all you need
to know at this point is the efficiency of your amp and alternator. My old
rig pulled 11HP, haven't calculated the new one but the sub amp is digital
and WAY more efficient. it will beat your head on the dash and I still have
yet to see it pull more than 25A.

The mid/hi's (biamped) (for the audiophiles) are class A/B biased into A for
a long time it runs pretty warm for such a light load so I loose it there
:).

While this is indeed quite the set-up, this dude would barely bust a
grape in the stereo competitions held in Miami. Imagine entire vans on
hydraulics comprised of nothing but amps and speakers..they're out
there.
