Default remote CB

Andy (2LD751) recently posted a question regarding remote cb's.
Cobra made a model many years ago called the 67LTD. Box mounts
under the seat and everything is in the handheld unit. Only
problem is sometimes the wiring gets brittle and the unit
becomes useless. I have 2 working units and had 2 dead ones.

Sharp also made 2 similar type units. Sharps model had a
detachable handheld unit. One of them came with a switchable ANL
in the handheld and a signal strength meter on the speaker part.
The other sharp came w/o the meter & ANL.
Its very hard to find a competent cb shop that can work on the
remote CB' s.
