Anger?

You fail to see satire and irony when you read it, you don't recognize
"dry humor?"...

.... you really think I take you as anything more than the silliest of
jokes?

Common guy (or girl, or it), sit down the opium pipe and step away
into the light...

You know nothing of debate, as your posts attest. They are made in
haste
and anger. Your insults should be left at the door. Of course, people
in
college familiar with debate already know this.

Not to be confused with the actual A$$'s here,

Right on cue. Thank you for the brilliance shared.

Anger?

Absolutely. When you introduced personal insult as a means to convey
your feelings, it was a knee-jerk response to feelings of anger or low
self-esteem. Have it your way, it's the latter, then. By the time (if)
you finish this college you felt impotant enough to invoke, you will
learn such things. Insult has no place in debate. Next time, know a
little more of your subject before you slap yourself for other's
benefit.

You fail to see satire and irony when you read

it, you don't recognize "dry humor?"...

Satire is not laced with direct insult, nor is dry humor. Your first
claim that you knew something of debate embarrassed you and you were
pardoned when you demonstrated ignorance arrived by your insult. Fine.
Tits up for you topping that with your incorrect interpretations of
satire and dry humor. Satirists don't directly insult, as they have no
need. They understand the subtle implications of their work and the
generally educated public can correctly infer such from their work. But
you, man, you brilliantly demonstrated not only a most unsound
description, but a through misinterpretation of both satire -and-
debate.

... you really think I take you as anything more

than the silliest of jokes?

That is exactly what you did by attempting to invoke -your- college. You
did so in a most serious attempt, but since you totally embarrassed
yourself with such a failed example, you now wish to claim it a joke.
Agreed. With such an example of debate from you, a joke is what the
educated interpret such as.

Common guy (or girl, or it), sit down the opium
pipe and step away into the light...

So out of anger or low self-esteem, you have demonstrated and chosen an
unhealthy preoccupation for speaking of both drugs and this mother
complex you brought to the group. Please try and understand that your
needs can be better met by someone who cares for you.

----------------------------------------------
I used to listen to the radio
And I don't guess they're listenin' to me no more They talk too much but
that's okay
I don't understand a single word they say **** and moan about the
immigrants
But don't say nothin' about the president A democracy don't work that
way
I can say anything I wanna say
So **** the FCC
**** the FBI
**** the CIA
Livin' in the mother****in' USA
People tell me that I'm paranoid
And I admit I'm gettin' pretty nervous, boy It just gets tougher
everyday
To sit around and watch it while it slips away Been called a traitor and
a patriot
Call me anything you want to but
Just don't forget your history
Dirty Lenny died so we could all be free
