It's more then you need. I used to run a modded TS-667V. I was told
I was heard on 19 over 40 miles away when there was no local traffic.
I moved back down to my TS-250, then to a low-end 2*455 amp. Less
current drain and I can still talk as far as I can hear.

If the band is open you'll talk. If it's not, you're ****ing in the wind.
