Installed a 40 channel Cobra WX ST Radio in my truck, there is so much noise
coming thru it that its driving me nuts, Especially with the A/C Blower motor on. I have tried to run it both ways, thru the fuse box and directly to the battery, Did not make a bit of difference. Purchased a filter from radio shack and tried that, no difference. I believe it is all antenna interference, when I disconnect the antenna at the back the noise drops about 80%. My question..... Am I experiencing a cheap radio shack cable/antenna? Would I have to run it outside the vehicle then inside or would it be possible to shield the cable with some type of aluminum foil help? Appreciate any advise Glenn Beasley Chrysler Tech |
