What a joke!! I suppose I should build my own radio too?

With your free time, why don't you find some self-esteem in completing
your COLLEGE education, rather than suggesting everyone enjoy things
the way you do by building them. Not everyone does.

Sorry, you've just stated that you must be in fact handicapped -on your
brain-.
Take your meds and calm down.
However it is entertaining to see someone "jumping within triangles" as
we like to say in german....

Cheers

That is plan ignorance calling a disabled person "handicapped".

What kind of dipoles are being used out there (store purchased only,
please)?

Buther Boy

Do you frequently talk skip with them?

There are no famous store bought dipoles. You can get them on ebay. But, I left
you a post on how to build one. You will not get any better performance from a
store bought dipole than a homemade. And you can easily talk skip with them. You
would get the same peformance from a homemade dipole as you would if you
purchase a A-99 and laid it horizontally.

Vinnie S.

I get the homemade concept, but am disabled and not interested in
trying to build one! I see through your links that the Workman BS-1
is one store bought option. Anyone have any experience with this one?
I know that Workman is a low-cost option.

Thanks.

Buther Boy

There is no experience. They will all work the same, if you cut them to the
lowest SWR. They will work like a homeone. The difference is you don't have to
assemble. You said you are handicapped. Can you hang and trim the antenna? If
so, that will be the hard part. Building it easy.

Vinnie S.
