For those who do not know, CADS is a recently proposed service which would allow religious
groups to broadcast their services on one of the CB bands here in the UK.
It was initially put on a one year trial, in 4 UK cities, but that was extended for another
year. Now, it is also extended to some towns.

Now this is serious. What you will have is some mosques running 10KW. This
is a back door way of getting rid of freebanders on 11m. It could make
freebanders migrate to 6MHz. I hope the scheme fails.

They arent allowed to run any extra power legally than the rest of us but if
they did i doubt whether they would get away with kicking power like that.
It would cause horrendous interference especially if the rig had been
fiddled with by one of the tweek and hope merchants...

If I run power, causing enough interference to get noticed, they will have no
problems marching into my home and taking what they like.
Can you see them marching into a mosque and confiscating equipment?

Once there is the possibility of race or religion coming into it, and someone may
scream "discrimination" or "racism", nobody will dare to step in and stop it.

I can see it on paper yes but i guess when it comes to reality the lefties
will put their oars in and the police will be ordered not to upset the local
community etc.. so in the end they will probably knock on the door, be told
to "die infidel scum" then go away again with their tail between their legs.

Its wrong but.... unfortunately true.. to deal with the minority will..
unfortunately incite the rest of the community and the fact that the
original few law breakers were doing wrong will make no difference at all..

You just want to hope that nobody starts to radicalise the Jovos, convincing them that
the World is against them. There must be a Kingdom hall near you, there's even one
in this small town.

Cannot happen to other religions, huh?
Remember how the Seventh Day Adventists recommended people from this country to
go and study with a guy in Waco... and what they became part of?

All it takes is one wacko to get trusted within a religion and he can have an army to
carry out his battles for him. People are too keen to just take the words of someone
within their religion rather than study the religion properly to find the facts.

No,its about allowing mosques to broadcast calls to prayer, which is why its
been extended to those towns.

Why do they need to dress it up as "religious groups" ?

including roving portable churches pulled by semis.
